Alex Sanchez

Public Policy and Government Affairs Senior Analyst


Alex is a member of Google’s D.C. Public Policy team, where he focuses on education policy and public affairs programs. As part of his work, he serves as the program manager for Google’s Rolling Study Halls initiative, which help students with long commutes maximize the time they can spend learning through wifi-enabled school buses, devices, and on-board educators. He also manages Google’s CS First Roadshow, which increases exposure to computer science through interactive school assemblies. Prior to joining Google, Alex spent four years at the U.S. Department of Education during the Obama Administration. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Jess, their dog, Charlie, and their enormous cat, Presley.
