Description

The goal of the Hackathon is to help educators identify technology that will help them solve classroom challenges that inhibit student learning or classroom management. Helping to improve student learning by bringing educators and technologists together to identify or tweak existing technology solutions, or to create new ones that solve real classroom challenges. This will be accomplished by convening participants into an environment that allows teachers to state challenges and for other participants to rally around those statements in an effort to identify current solutions, modify, or create new solutions. Teachers state challenges and needs; Technologist, makers, developers and other teachers identify, modify, or create new solutions that solve challenges. This event brings together a community of educators, technologists, and makers together during FETC to solve classroom challenges by identifying existing tech solutions, tweaking existing tech solutions, or creating new tech solutions to improve teaching and learning. BYOD. Hackathon participation is included in the FETC Basic Registration  Use this form (https://kylesteele.typeform.com/to/HL6Svt) to list your classroom problems prior to the Digital Tools Hackathon!
