Elizabeth Nelson is a master educator whose role continues to evolve after 16 years in education. She has taught various grade levels at the elementary level and has most recently moved into the role of K-5 STEM Teacher in Barrington District #220. She holds a BA in Elementary Education (Marquette University, a MS in Science Education (National Louis University), and is Nationally Board Certified.
Elizabeth is an educational leader passionate about STEM education at the elementary level. In her current role she develops, implements, and evaluates K-5 STEM curriculum. She coordinates STEM family events and builds home-school partnerships so families can continue to extend their learning beyond the school day.
