Gregory Haynes is the Lead Games User Researcher at the AbleGamers Charity. Graduating from Fordham University with a B.S. in Psychology, Greg worked for nearly 6 years as a Research Assistant in the Lieber Center for Schizophrenia at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. With the AbleGamers team, he has consulted with a number of companies in the video game industry including Google, Ubisoft, Activision, and Microsoft, the latter of which involved the development of the Xbox Adaptive Controller. Greg seeks to understand the reasons why people with disabilities seek gameplay experiences, the features this demographic looks for in video games, and how those facets can foster inclusive design practices within the video game industry.
