Joe taught at both the elementary and middle school level for 15 years before accepting a job with the Berrien Regional Education Service Agency (RESA) as an educational technology consultant. Currently he helps guide meaningful technology use for the 16 public schools, numerous private schools, and over 25,000 students of Berrien County. This year his focus has been on utilizing the Micro:Bit to promote computer science at the middle school level. Joe is proud to serve as current president for the Michigan based ISTE affiliate, MACUL and was the 2019 MACUL conference chair. He and his wife Becky live in St. Joseph with their four school aged children: Grace, Ava, James and Gwendolyn.
