Dan Phillips is an Augmentative Communication - Assistive Technology Specialist that runs a diagnostic, support and training center for over 4,000 special needs students in Marin County, California. He works with training teams working with students with disabilities that affect communication, reading, writing and math from ages newborn to 22. He is the CEO of the Nika Project, a global tech initiative for providing Communication and Technology Support for Special Needs communities around the world. He lectures both nationally and internationally on advancing technology with diverse populations and has been an invited speaker in Brazil, Nigeria, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, India, Oman, South Africa, Australia, Poland and Dubai.
