Description

Video is a powerful tool for professional growth. It allows teachers to see their work, reflect on their practice, and use feedback to make improvements.... But, it can also be scary. In this session participants will discover a series of steps designed to help teachers become more comfortable using video. They’ll explore different ways to use video clips in the coaching cycle and they’ll learn how to use feedback protocols in small groups of teachers to support each other in their work. In this dynamic session, participants will walk away with all the tools necessary to incorporate video coaching (both face-to-face or virtually) in their own settings.  All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Participants are responsible for bringing a wifi enabled device with all workshop software/apps downloaded before attending. ** Please be sure to bring headphones as we will need them for the coaching simulation.
