Kristen Brooks is a Technology Specialist in the Cherokee County School District, an Educational Consultant, Featured Speaker, Content Creator and Keynote Presenter. She is a veteran teacher of 28 years, the last 18 years exclusively in educational technology & instructional technology coaching. She loves empowering students to create content, to show what they know & encouraging teachers to create standards-based lesson plans incorporating innovative technology strategies to engage students into their learning process. Ms. Brooks is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, an Adobe Creative Educator, an Adobe Education Leader, an Apple Learning Coach, & a Minecraft global mentor. She has stated, “I am very blessed to spend most of my time with students in classrooms encouraging and supporting teachers to become the facilitator of learning.”
