Description

Student data provides a wide variety of useful information for teachers, but only when analyzed and applied. Identifying the most impactful ways to quickly dissect data, creating differentiated instruction plans based on the data, and planning for immediate implementation are keys to successful data integration into any classroom. Gulf Shores Middle School has been designing and implementing Data Digging Days for their staff, school-wide, for over five years, and it has led to increased student test scores, more personalized learning experiences for students, and a wide-range of student educational opportunities. Their teachers feel more empowered through the structure, guidance, and support the Data Digging provides. Come see how they have built, implemented, and grown this Professional Development model.
