Description
The educational system in Finland is one of the highest achieving in the world. International scores on the PISA exam show that Finnish students compare very favorably with other advanced nations. What are some instructional and teacher preparation practices that U.S. schools might consider implementing? How do Finnish students do so well on international exams when there are no standardized tests in Finland? Videos of interviews with Finnish educators and classroom instruction will be featured in the presentation.
