Description

Cybersecurity is the #1 priority among technology leaders. Insurance carriers expect more protections before they underwrite school systems. The entire school community wants more confidence in their cybersecurity practice. The entire nation has a goal to improve cybersecurity practices of schools. Using the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIS) process maturity framework and road map for improvement endorsed by education practice partner, this session will focus on 4 objectives: 1) build cybersecurity coalition of ed focused organizations, 2) build ed focused framework for cybersecurity standards, 3) the development of building an assessment rubric achievable for most schools, and 4) build training resources for professionals to audit the assessment rubric.   FETC Workshops require an additional registration fee or premium registration. All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) for hands on participation.
