Description

What will be the thing that ignites passion for a career? Great companies and foundations have funded curriculum writers and videomakers to create targeted classroom materials for no-cost, high quality resources supporting career exposure and exploration. These resources include web simulation, video challenges, step-by-step print resources, interactive apps, and virtual field trips. From short introductions, move to student-driven activations based on student interest. These are great and varied, from blue collar to graduate work. They include both college and non-college paths, and a very diverse range of role models. The participants will receive hot-linked documents to download with all resources. We will deep into three resources, then, following up participants will pick resources that match their student profiles. These resources also have separate family or community components. These extend learning beyond the classroom. All resources shown are free. Also explore the included SEL resources.
