Description

Living in today’s challenging and unprecedented times, social emotional learning is the necessary foundation to transform education as we know it. As the connecting thread to unite and engage all stakeholder groups (including educators, students, and families), SEL integrates vision and purpose, aligns values with individual and systemic goals, and increases organizational efficacy. SEL fosters an inclusive, connected community that emphasizes the powerful relationship between academic achievement and social emotional competencies, including self-awareness, self-management, decision making, and relationship skills. Participants will workshop in teams to attain the knowledge and skills to implement a plan that integrates social emotional learning into current school culture and practices in order to improve to well-being and learning environment for staff and students.   FETC Workshops require an additional registration fee or premium registration. All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) for hands on participation.
