Description

No form of technology will impact students' future lives than Artificial Intelligence. The impact on equity is pervasive. Expose students to AI with fun and free resources from Google, Amazon, and the STEM Coalition. Give them the sense of mastery by building Alexa Blueprints from elementary to high school. Dive into web-based resources from Google (fun yet deep) to explain AI's potential and impact. Learn strategies, and examples for algorithmic and computational thinking and their integration into traditional subject area classroom. Get hands-on AI learning without a computer using everyday objects (marbles, crayons, buttons). Learn some playground physical activities that teach algorithms. Understand the importance of parent permissions and build sample parent permission letters. Interactive: Participants will build and test AI skills, explore AI games. Bring a tablet or phone or laptop. It's all you need. Students must understand the threat to equity and information AI's potentially bring. Master AI!   FETC Workshops require an additional registration fee or premium registration. All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) for hands on participation.
