Profile
Alicia is an educator, activist, speaker, educational technology trainer, and lifelong learner. She has worked as a Professional Development Specialist, Virtual Learning Specialist, Instructional Technology Coach, and PreK-first grade teacher. As a coach and specialist, Alicia instructed students and educators in grades PreK-12. She has also worked with higher education educators, stakeholders, and administrators. Alicia currently teaches sixth graders ELA in Jefferson County Schools.
Alicia continues to present at conferences and schools on social-emotional learning (SEL), mental health, diversity, equity, inclusion, and educational technology. Additionally, Alicia has been a guest or panelist on several podcasts.
