Klaus Unger is the Director of HR Technology at the Mayo Clinic. He is responsible for the strategy, design, development, implementation and support of Mayo Clinic’s HR systems and technologies.
Prior to joining the Mayo Clinic, Klaus lead the HR Technology team at Blackberry in Ontario, Canada and spent 12 years with Life Technologies in Foster City, California as the Leader of HR Technology.
Klaus developed and executed HR Technology roadmaps, during his 22 years of HR Technology experience that positioned companies for future growth and profitability. He is a keynote speaker at HR Technology events. Klaus received his MBA, with an emphasis in Human Resources Management, from the University of Bielefeld in Germany where he also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems.
