Description
When districts quickly moved to virtual learning in response to the pandemic, one key aspect became quite clear: Many curriculum materials lacked basic accessibility features that enable every student to successfully learn. Although today's students readily have access to Core Content materials, websites, e-books, PDFs, Google Docs, and more, available doesn’t mean accessible. In this illuminating session, Inclusive Technology Evangelist Mike Marotta will provide strategies and tools to provide digital text that is accessible to ALL learners regardless of ability. Mike will show you how to effectively match student needs to an accessible educational materials format. Plus, you'll learn about a range of technology tools -- for all OS platforms -- that can be used to create, modify, and provide access for all students.
