IN4 | Voice in Curriculum: How to Benefit From Voice Technology Beyond Campus Life

Over the past year, colleges have focused on various efforts to integrate voice technology into student life. Voice is being used to help students become more engaged with the community, navigate campus life, access instructional information, and be involved in efforts to become better prepared for a voice-enabled world. This session will offer insights on the next logical step: to integrate voice technology with curriculum. Which types of students benefit from interactive auditory learning? What are the advantages and implications of using voice-based tools to enrich the course of study? We will also look at the importance of user based design in voice in education, from both the educator’s and the student’s perspective.
