Aquamatsystem is the brand for our capillary mats Aquamat® and Aquathermat®. The original company name is Soleno Textiles manufacturing nonwoven geotextiles for several engineering applications from under roads uses to soil separation and drainage. It is also one of the sister company of Soleno, manufacturing and distributing storm water management products. Aquamatsystem® is a specific division of Soleno Textiles company. Aquamatsytem® first product was released in 2001 in the greenhouse market in the province of Quebec, Canada. It was developed in collaboration with Laval University (Prof. Jean Caron Ph.D.) and FSU (Richard C. Beeson Ph.D.) The Aquamatsystem® is actually offered to North America market for the last few years. With the water and labor issues we are all facing now, Aquamatsystem® could be a real, efficient and sustainable solution.
