Corinne, a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, holds a Master’s of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and is a PhD candidate in the Sociology Department at the University of Pittsburgh. Corinne has received national recognition for her research and served as an Instructor at a Leadership Institute at CMU. Prior to her academic career, she worked at Blackberry Meadows Farm where she helped to strategically manage cultivation and business operations for the Allegheny County based 80-acre, commercial-scale, organic vegetable farm. She became a marijuana advocate after developing a chronic neurological condition, and co-founded Maitri to help others suffering from chronic medical conditions gain access to medical marijuana.
