Surprisingly, not all Mensans are alike, but groups of us share many traits. Do you want to know more about why people join, why they stay, and how to engage with them? Join the Membership Officer and Professional Staff to dive into the distinct personas within American Mensa. We will explore the who and some of the why that make us, us.

People join for many reasons, but they stay or leave based on local connections. Our goal is to explain the persona landscape so local group volunteers can improve on creating meaningful connections. We’ll start with an exploration of the persona build process, then move to generation insights, looking at a range of distinctions within each generation. Next we introduce the seven personalities that cross all generations. See if you can find yourself and opportunities for your Local Group!

Following the presentation, the Membership and Marketing Directors will lead an open-floor Q&A and discussion. Come ready to share your best practices at recruiting and retention, and leave with a better understanding on how to create experiences that resonate with every member who walks through your door.
