Jim Ancmon is a lifelong language enthusiast with a deep commitment to the intellectual and artistic dimensions of learning. Formerly a research chemist and later an IT consultant, he now brings that same analytical curiosity and disciplined creativity into his current preparation for ordination within a Christian denomination. His work blends linguistic rigor with aesthetic expression, integrating the Scriptorium method, calligraphy, and digital art tools to make language study both contemplative and visually engaging. Drawing on experience with Latin, Ancient Greek, and the cognitive benefits of classical education, he enjoys helping others discover practices that strengthen memory, deepen focus, and open new pathways into the world of languages.
