Dr. Rebekah Crowe is a Professor of History and the Dean of the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Wayland Baptist University. In addition to overseeing 14 baccalaureate and 8 master’s degrees across a diverse university system, she still finds time to teach history courses every semester. Today’s program is an outgrowth of her master’s thesis on the early history of the Branch Davidians, which grew out of her internship at the Texas Collection Archive and her training at the Institute for Oral History, both at Baylor University. Dr. Crowe holds a BA in History from Wayland Baptist University, an MA in History from Baylor University, and a PhD in US History from Texas Christian University.
