Casey Shelton joined the Monuments Men and Women Foundation in 2015 and developed the Foundation’s database, cataloging biographical information from their research files. Over her eleven years with the Foundation, she has led the accessioning and cataloging of the artifact collection, contributed research to the documentary Hunting Nazi Treasure and the Monuments Men and Women Gallery at the National WWII Museum, and assisted in editing the first English edition of Rose Valland’s Le front de l’art. She currently focuses on researching leads on potentially looted cultural property. Ms. Shelton holds a BA in Art History.
