  • The production of car spark plugs is an inseparable part of the city of Tábor. This year, it is 85 years since Josef Bruck, an enterprising engineer, started producing BRITA spark plugs in the "Na Kopečku" district of Tábor, first with mica and later ceramic insulation. Today, it is BRISK, as, a 100% Czech family company, which, under the leadership of its owner, Mojmír Čapka, has developed into a world-renowned supplier of spark plugs and car sensors. It is the only manufacturer of spark plugs in the Czech Republic and is one of the five largest manufacturers in the world.

    In the post-war period, spark plugs left Tábor under the PAL brand, which were exported mainly to the countries of the communist bloc. However, they also had a good reputation in the West, mainly due to motoring

    world champion Josef Fojtík was the star of the prestigious "Six Days" race with the Czech PALs.

    EXPORT TO 70 COUNTRIES

    Today's success of BRISK spark plugs and sensors is based on 97% of exports to more than 70 countries from the USA, South America through Europe, Africa, Russia, the Middle and Far East, Southeast Asia and Australia. The company provides supplies for serial production, original replacement consumption of the world's largest car manufacturers and manufacturers of garden equipment, as well as independent replacement consumption. In addition to sensors, incandescent lamps, spark plugs for current internal combustion engines of cars, motorcycles, ships, aircraft and garden equipment, the Tábor factory also produces technical ceramics and ignition electrodes for gas boilers. Since 2016, BRISK has been providing part of the deliveries to the Russian market from its assembly plant in Russia, located in Togliatti.

    INNOVATION, PATENTS

    Our own development department provides BRISK with the maximum ability to keep up with global competition and go its own way with innovative solutions, some of which are patented or protected as a utility model. Already in 1996, BRISK came up with the Silver spark plug, designed for alternative gas fuels LPG / CNG. Today, it offers spark plugs for hybrid engines. The special design solution is then used in the world of motorsport and racing. They help racing teams around the world in the most difficult regimes and conditions in various disciplines - dragsters, rallies, motocross, road motorcycles, motor boats, go-karts.

  • BRISK spark plugs will again be the next season on the MXGP World Championship series with the "JD KTM GUNNEX RACING TEAM" satellite team. After mutually successful cooperation in 2019, the owner of BRISK Tábor as, ing. Mojmír Čapka, and Jiří Jankovský, the owner of the team, agreed to continue.

    The success and application of BRISK spark plugs (originally the PAL brand) have a rich history in motorsport. PAL spark plugs were part of the laurel successes of Czechoslovak motorsport in the 1950s and 1970s. From the production, they were fitted to Jawa (famous Kývačka) and ČZ motorcycles, for example in the French 24-hour Bol d´Or and in the world's most difficult motorcycle off-road competition "Six Days". At that time, famous names such as Jaroslav Falta, Josef Fojtík, Květoslav Mašita and many others rode with PAL candles.

    Since the 1990s, the production of spark plugs under the BRISK brand has continued in Tábor. The development of spark plugs for motorsport and racing has been one of the basic directions of the owner of the BRISK company since 1995.

    BRISK continued the exceptional results of PAL in the world of motorsport and during that time showed the racing world many unique design solutions for spark plugs, which significantly affect the performance of engines on the race track in various motorsport disciplines. Thanks to intensive cooperation with teams, exchange of information from testing directly from drivers, BRISK always implements individual solutions according to engine settings and thus constantly improves performance parameters.

    As a result of more than a year of joint testing with the JD KTM GUNNEX RACING TEAM team in extreme conditions and competitions in 2019 on the KTM 250SXF and KTM 450SXF engines, the " BRISK FACTORY " spark plugs proved to be excellent. The spark plugs were tested on the brakes in Belgium and France by "court" tuners of the best motocross teams, where the use of " BRISK FACTORY" spark plugs clearly showed the improvement of the engine. BRISK FACTORY spark plugs are fitted to all the team's motorcycles and “under the baton of riders such as Adam Sterry, Jose Antonio Butron, Richard Šikyňa, the entire MXGP World Championship and the ADAC German Championship series will take place this year as well.

  • The first race of the International Motorsport Championship of the Czech Republic in the Motocross in South Bohemia Kaplice.
    BUKSA ADOS, which we support, has made us great joy because it has won in all major groups. The whole team uses BRISK RACING COR10LGS spark plugs.

    MX1
    In both races, Martin Michek (Buksa / Ados KTM Team) won with style start-finish. From the start of the first race, he set a fascinating pace, which only Václav Kovář accepted in the beginning. Michek even gave the tenth rider a round.


    MX2
    It was no surprise that the first race was dominated by French rider Sulivan Jaulin (Buksa / Ados KTM Team), who took the role of leader after the departure of his teammate, Slobodan. But he had a new „friend“ on the duels and new teammate Martin Krč. But he did not have enough power and left „Suli“ in the first run and won second place. Overall, Sulivan Jaulin won first place, the second was Patrik Liška (HT Group Racing Team) and third was Jonáš Nedvěd (Orion Racing Team) despite the fact that the second ride for him was a fighter. Silver Krč from the first race eliminated the technical problem in the second ride from the battle for the winning.

    In this category started another rider who we support – 15 year old Radek Větrovský with a spark plug BRISK RACING L10S. He started for the first time with the KTM SX 125 motorcycle between „adults“ and did not do anything wrong. In the first race he finished on 22 place and in the second on 20 place out of 40 competitors. It should be noted that these plants are not a priority for him. His priority for European Championships 85 Junior and German ADAC.

    Women
    Steffi Laier (Buksa / Ados KTM Team) has won both races in a sober way and has shown to everyone else who is the multiple world champion here. Elena Kapsamer (Buksa / Ados KTM Team), 16, had a second run in the first run and made a mistake and was finally fourth. The second run went better and Kapsamer won second place, overall it was the result of her life when she finished second overall.

  • The advantage of this special series of spark plugs is the jump of the spark from the case along the entire circumference of the spark gap (360 °). Due to their construction, they are suitable for high-performance motors. The big advantage is the perfect combustion of the mixture of fuel and air in the engine cylinder.

    The Brisk Racing GS design is commonly used for high compression, forced induction and nitrous use. The construction makes the spark plug very durable and consistent being able to withstand extreme conditions and perform very consistently.

  • BRISK Racing has included in its range a new type of "tuning" spark plugs from the PREMIUM LGS series with the designation AAOR10LGS (Stock # 1967) designed primarily for Ducati motorcycles.

    SPARK PLUGS WITH SPECIAL SPARK PLUG CONSTRUCTION

    Spark plugs with a long discharge path with the possibility of spark jump around the entire perimeter of the spark gap (360 °).

    The advantage is the perfect ignition of the mixture of fuel and air in the engine cylinder. The discharge can take place without restriction around the entire circumference of the tip of the insulator. Premium LGS spark plugs require strong ignition systems, perfect mixture preparation and the use of engines in the upper speed range.
