The Center for Great Expectations
CGE's CTARI Institute creates attuned school cultures.
The CTARI Institute™, a transformational program of The Center for Great Expectations, offers an innovative Professional Development & Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) approach to creating a more attuned culture within schools. The CTARI Institute's distinctive program integrates five core topics: creating Attuned Schools™; Emotionally Attuned Classrooms™; De-escalation Skills for Students, Teachers and School Staff; The Nurtured Approach®, and Restorative Practices. The Attuned Schools™ model educates on the foundational concepts of chronic stress, trauma and brain science, engages by creating dialogue with administration, teachers, parents, and students in the best possible environment; enables and strengthens individuals by developing and supporting individualized Regulation Strategy Plans™ (RSPs) and building a continuous feedback loop; and empowers with regular refresher courses and workshops to help teachers, administration, students and parents continually work toward an improved school environment. The CTARI Institute relies on simple and easy-to-collect data as a means to measure the effectiveness of its programs.
