Shotgun Creek Prospect lies in the Montana portion of the Williston Basin. It contains 5 producing Ratcliffe wells and 5 producing Bakken horizontal wells with production of 140 bopd. The field contains 4 SWDs, 10 miles of water disposal pipelines and gas gathering system. The prospect has 25,000 acres of fee and state lands. Kraken Oil is planning a 3 mile lateral offsetting this acreage. All previous Bakken wells in the area are 2008-2001 vintage fracks.
