R.A.W. - Rebuilding America's Warriors
The Iraq Star Foundation, dba Rebuilding America's Warriors (RAW) was founded by Maggie Lockridge RN in 2007. It is comprised of 420 surgeons and dentists in 48 states who volunteer their surgical and dental skills to remove shrapnel, revise artillery wound scars, treat burn scars etc. as well as provide full dental restoration for veterans who suffered complications from the Anthrax Vaccine they were required to take prior to deployment and lost their teeth as a result. RAW's volunteer dentists also provide reconstructive dental prosthetics when a war wound has inflicted their face
RAW is responsible for the provision of anesthesia, operating room, medical supplies, medications, aftercare, transportation, dental implants, dental lab provisions, and any specific required treatments.
Maggie Lockridge RN, the Founder, was the owner and administrator of Shantique, a cosmetic aftercare facility in Beverly Hills for 18 years. Her affiliations with plastic surgeons, overseeing the care of 40,000 guests, and knowledge of reconstructive procedures provided her with the expertise required to administer to RAW's wounded.
