Newfoundland and Labrador possesses rich and diverse opportunities in business, investment, and exploration through its natural resources of oil, gas, hydro, wind and other energy sources.
The province’s five oil and gas fields in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin: Hibernia, Terra Nova, White Rose, North Amethyst, and Hebron have produced in excess of 2.4 billion barrels of oil. Discovered reserves/resources now total 5.4 billion barrels of oil and 10.9 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
