The patented RotaTap tool is a dual-purpose rod string spacing tool and rod rotator that is built to last. 

The RotaTap design solves ongoing challenges related to traditional rod string spacing practices and rod rotator failures.  It’s a safe, easy, field proven way to fine tune your rod string spacing, without requiring rod clamp removal.  

The RotaTap allows vertical adjustment of the rod string without the time and risk associated with removing the rod clamps. It is  purpose  also a durable, weather sealed rod rotator with premium bearings and gearing to outlast traditional rod rotators.  Consistent, field proven performance means it will rotate the rod string to extend the life of the string.

With up to 18" of height adjustability, the RotaTap allows for precise placement of the rod string relative to the rod pump to improve pump performance and minimize or eliminate the damage caused by tagging and reduce pump maintenance costs.

Atabec Safety Lock is an engineered, permanently mounted sheave lock that engages with the crank arm on all sizes of pumpjacks. It is operated by a simple hydraulic handpump by personnel from outside the swing area to avoid risk of struck-by incidents caused by the counterweights.

The patented (Can/US) Atabec Safety Lock isolates and prevents movement of the crank arms and allows the pumpjack weights to be locked in a variety of positions to quickly facilitate inspection, service rig work, as well as counterweight and stroke length adjustment. It saves time & eliminates cost of third-party cranes/pickers, while improving safety at the well site.

 Atabec Safety Lock is engineered with a 3:1 safety factor with a simple, yet robust design that employs a common locking assembly, with custom mounting hardware, to accommodate all pumpjack sizes and manufacturers. A simple hydraulic pump engages and disengages the sheave lock from outside the danger area. With the hydraulic fork engaged, there is zero crank movement even with NO BRAKE and FULL POWER applied to the unit. A 100% non-toxic and environmentally friendly fluid is utilized in our closed loop system.

Install is simple  with a custom fit mounting plate that is  adapted to all makes and models & utilizes existing hardware to minimize installation time.

Well Site Guard is made with the same durable polycarbonate plastic used in airplane windows and it stands up to Canadian winters & the Texas sun.  They are simple & easy to install in only 10 - 20 minutes!

Each new Well Site Guard comes fully equipped with our Rain Guard at the top, preventing dust, debris, or rain from entering the unit. With a powder coated aluminum basin and permanently attached urethane seal, it is designed to last for decades. The top is easily removable for quick maintenance, and the entire unit can be transferred to another well and reused.

Silverstream Brake Saver Seals: CASE STUDY Oct 2020 to April 2021

SITUATION:

Mid-Size Producer operating in West Central Alberta typically experienced 5 – 7 frozen/ broken brake cables each winter, especially on pumping units with vertically aligned brake cables across 50 wells for an average failure rate of 10 – 15%.

PROBLEM:

Exposed brake cable seals degrade over time due to sun, sand or extreme temperature allowing rain or sand to enter the brake cable causing potential damage.   When cold weather arrives, the water freezes around the cables and when the brake is engaged, the brake cable snaps and fails.

IMPACT OF BRAKE CABLE FAILURE:

Increased risk of struck-by or crush incidents

Repair and replacement costs incurred for brake cable and potential third party maintenance crew.

Additional potential costs include 3^rd party heavy equipment costs to secure the pumpjack in absence of a working brake and/ or stand by charges for a workover rig and crew if a workover or maintenance was originally planned.

CASE STUDY RESULTS:

Silverstream Brake Savers were installed on 50 pumping units with vertically aligned brake cables in October 2020.

The producer experienced ZERO brake cable failures over the winter, despite prolonged periods of -40 cold for a 100% improvement over previous year spend on brake cable maintenance.
