The Consumer Fianancial Protection Bureau (CFPB), created in 2011 as part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act, holds primary responsibility for regulating financial products and service aimed at the American consumer.  CFPB also has jurisdiction over banks, credit unions, securities firms, payday lenders, mortgage servicers, foreclosure relief services, debt collectors, and other finanical services.  CFPB aims to be a model government agency that helps consumer finance markets work by making rules more effective, by consistently and fairly enforcing those rules, and by empowering consumers to take more control over their economic lives.

CFPB's Office of Procurement and Office of Minority and Women Inclusion are fully committed to guiding small businesses throught the procurement process to ensure utilization of small business services in support of protecting and serving the American consumer.
