Description

Having a robust water and wastewater system that’s hardened and resilient against cyberattacks is a national priority, but one that can only be implemented locally. Large or small, individual utility providers play a vital role in this goal, requiring both preparation and vigilance. Yet for many, cybersecurity is a daunting task: it’s a complicated, moving target, so ongoing education and awareness are crucial. Join Deputy Director Nitin Natarajan of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and Director, Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water EPA, Jennifer McLain as they discuss today’s biggest threats to our water infrastructure, latest efforts and programs, and ways you can prepare, respond, and recover from incidents.
