KIMM presents a stretchable color microLED display without image distortion. The display consists of an auxetic metamaterial circuit board and red, green, and blue microLEDs. The auxetic metamaterial’s Poisson ratio is measured at (‐1), which means the displayed image is not distorted under uniaxial stretching. This prototype,
3 inches in size and 50 ppi, is the first color microLED display panel that is stretchable up to 30%.
