SEEYA has developed a new 1.3‐in. OLED microdisplay that provides a nominal resolution of 3,552 (real RGB)
x 3,552 pixels plus an additional 16 pixels in each direction for display image adjustment. Based on a 6.543µm pixel, a new tandem OLED device, scaling‐up, current driving, and fine‐tuning microlens technology, SEEYA achieved a high ppi of 3,882, nearly 100% DCI‐P3 coverage, high brightness of 4,000 nits, 30Hz‐120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and long lifetime. This product is designed for near‐eye applications especially in the field of wide FoV high‐brightness virtual reality (VR).
