The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) creates, publishes and supports open standards that enable higher-performance video and display products. These include DisplayPort, DisplayHDR, DisplayPort Alt Mode for the USB-C connector, eDP, Display Stream Compression (DSC), VESA Display Compression-M (VDC-M), ClearMR, Adaptive-Sync Display, DisplayID and more. VESA is an international, non-profit standards association with a 30-year history and more than 340 member companies, including display, computer, component, and software manufacturers. DisplayPort and related VESA standards have been implemented in over 1 billion products across many market segments, including monitors, PCs, laptops, gaming consoles and headsets, smartphones, tables, to automotive, digital projectors and digital signage.
