  • GREENSBORO, NC:  January 5, 2022 – Latitude Aero, an aircraft seating overhaul provider, recently announced the hiring of Emma Reno as Marketing Coordinator. In this role, Reno will be researching and analyzing the latest marketing trends and helping develop innovative marketing strategies.

    Reno is a recent graduate of Appalachian State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. As an original member of the Latitude family upon launch, she says re-joining the company after college is a natural fit.

    “From working at Latitude part-time in 2015 to now, I have watched this company continue to grow and evolve, and I cannot wait to see where 2022 will take us,” says Reno. “I am excited to be a part of such a progressive company, and I am confident that my skills and knowledge will be a great asset to Latitude’s Marketing Team.”

    As Marketing Coordinator, Reno will coordinate with clients, draft marketing proposals, execute marketing strategies, analyze social media insights, and manage social media contests and campaigns.  She will also play a significant role in creating, implementing, and analyzing email campaigns and launching new social media channels.

    Kelvin Boyette, President & CEO, expressed enthusiasm about how the growth of the marketing team. “We are thrilled to have Emma officially join the Latitude family,” says Boyette.  “She has come full circle from her beginning as a part-time seating technician when the company was founded to her new full-time position post-university.  Her integrated marketing and graphic design experience will allow us to capitalize on the strength of the Latitude brand as we continue to innovate and grow.”

    Latitude Aero moved into a new 100,000sqft headquarters in 2021, roughly doubling the company’s size and capacity. Along with the new facility and new capabilities come new jobs. In addition to Reno, the company will be looking to hiring 15-20 positions in the next 120 days.

  • GREENSBORO, NC:  Nov. 30, 2020 – Latitude Aero, a Greensboro-based aerospace company, is growing and expanding into a new location, doubling size and capacity of production. The new facility expects to become fully operational, adding EASA certification, mid-December 2020.

    The new 100,000 sf (9,290 sm) facility is located in the same industrial park as the company’s current headquarters at Air Park North, adjacent to PTI Airport. The increased storage and manufacturing space is climate controlled, and will make room for some additions, including a machine shop for OEM fabrication, and a sewing studio for custom seat refurbishment, all under one roof.

    President and CEO Kelvin Boyette expressed enthusiasm about how the growth will benefit the Triad and beyond. “Our new headquarters will create fresh revenue and labor here in the area. By operating a facility roughly double the size of our current operation, we’re now able to take on larger projects, run production simultaneously, and provide new capabilities to our clients.”

    Along with the new facility and new capabilities come new jobs. Latitude Aero will be looking to hire 15-20 positions in the next 120 days. Positions will include sewing specialists, CNC operators, machinists, and additional seating technicians to handle the increased volume.

    Latitude Aero is an aircraft seating overhaul provider that specializes in the integration of inflight entertainment (IFE) and in-seat power (ISPS), to provide economically viable solutions for cabin upgrades of any scope. The new shop in the Seattle Region will service the OEM customer base on the West Coast and will allow the company to provide maintenance and repair to all of North America.
