Bijou™ is a new hair styling tool! The brand-new and totally unique Bijou™ tool applies genuine Swarovski® crystals, pearls, and other gems to the hair - without heat or electricity. Updos, curls, braids, any hairstyle, and all hair types can be adorned with Bijou™. Bijou™ uses a proprietary hair adhesive that is applied to the underside of all the jewels making them safe for hair and allowing the stones to not only stay in place but also not damage the hair. Bijou™ is the result of a remarkable seven-year journey Angie Cella, a single mother, and her four children took, to bring Bijou™ to market - which she is so excited to debut this weekend at Cosmoprof!
Bijou™ came to her one night in a dream. She woke up in love with the idea and believed she could invent it. A few weeks later, she had a second dream. In this one, God told her, “I want you to make this product.” After asking nightly for just this type of direction for her life, she felt called to make her product a reality. What followed was a long precarious journey, full of twists and turns, but that eventually ended in bedazzling triumph when she launched the little girl's version of her product, Blinger®. Now she is fulfilling her ultimate dream with the launch of Bijou™, so that women of all ages can shine!
Bijou™ is the manifestation of a lot of hard work, tears, failures, and sacrifices – including the selling of their home — to bring an idea to life — and how the power of faith can propel us to push ourselves and take risks even when it seems impossible to succeed.
