Our Enriching Night Cream is made with pure, organic, cold-pressed aloe vera, olive oil, pomegranate, grapeseed oil, and prickly pear (wild harvested) that are locally grown and hand harvested on our organic farm in Puglia, Italy. These fresh and potent ingredients are then transported and processed, within hours of harvesting, at our production facility less than 1km away. Our artisanal approach and extremely short supply chain maintain the potency and efficacy of each botanical, allowing for a significant brightening and anti-aging effects on the skin over time.
The cream contains grapeseed oil from a special variety of grape that nearly exclusive to Puglia, Italy, home to our organic farm. This special variety of red grape that, compared to other Italian varieties, contains among the highest levels of resveratrol and other antioxidants. These levels assist in the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect that is known to reverse free radical damage accumulated by the skin throughout the day.
The Prato Botanico Enriching Night Cream also contains a proprietary blend of both low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Low HA hydrates beneath the skin’s surface while high HA then locks in that moisture on the surface to protect the skin’s natural barrier and retain moisture over time. Our chemists discovered what they believe to be the most beneficial combination of HA to promote long-term hydration and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Although hyaluronic acid is a widely used ingredient, many companies use either low or high molecular weight hyaluronic acid with minimal effect.
