Premium Label and Packaging Solutions (PLPS) was formed in 2021 to bring together a group of independent converters with decades of experience in the packaging industry. Each company started with just one press and the personal touch of a small business. Although their size, staff, equipment, and capabilities experienced tremendous growth over the years, the level of responsiveness and commitment to the craft remained intact. 

The formation of PLPS allows each location to offer faster turnaround times and an extensive suite of products that range from traditional prime labels to highly specialized packaging solutions, typically not offered under one roof. With this model, we can support clients throughout an entire project from package prototyping to market testing to full production runs.

Every employee is devoted to the artisanship of label printing and shares a passion for innovation and service.   • Premium Labels & Packaging Solutions (PLPS) has chosen Cosmoprof NA as the first trade show to debut the company to the beauty industry and showcase its inaugural collection of labels, shrink sleeves, and flexible packaging. The line merges the newest packaging trends with an array of specialty finish options including foils, glitters, cast and cure, tactile coatings, and more. Design trends in the collection include Y2K,’60s Psychedelia, Color Mists, Perfectly Imperfect Sustainable, and Cut ‘n’ Paste Color Layering.

    Pouches, Stick Packs, Sachets, Laminate Tubes, Wrappers and Rollstock. One of the fastest-growing formats, flexible packaging is lightweight, tamper-evident, reduces packaging waste, and provides a smooth surface for high-quality printed images....

    • The flexible packaging segment continues to explode. But long lead times (sometimes up to 12 weeks) and high minimums (10,000 pieces) often curtail small to mid-size brands from being able to adopt this popular format favored by both consumers and the retail community.

    Further complicating things is that many companies print their flexible packaging overseas.  But poor quality and supply chain problems because of the pandemic have created numerous issues for North American brands. Premium Labels & Packaging Solutions is one of the only full-service label converters in the country to own a new state-of-the-art HP Digital Press that prints, laminates and can even form Ziploc gusseted bags/pouches in one facility.  This allows us to:

  • Pressure Sensitive and Shrink Sleeve Labels
    Beauty labels are more than just a pretty face! Claims, directions & dazzling designs combine to create a label that must appeal on shelves and online. We’re specialty finish experts and can enhance your art w/our award-winning visual and tactile effects....

    • Pressure Sensitive Labels are one of the most common label types used today. These self-adhesive “stickers” don’t require any heat, solvent, or water to activate, and only need slight pressure to apply. PS labels are often used in the beauty industry as a primary, secondary or tamper-proof label.

    Shrink Sleeves are a popular packaging format  because they seamlessly conforms to the shape of any container. Sleeves offer 360° graphics for maximum brand impact, provide added protection from breakage, and mask uneven fill lines.
