“Nobby” is Sirocco fan design. This is old design but so much of benefit from it. Sirocco fan is rotating fans like water wheel and it will push air forward unlike other fans structure. Typical propeller fans cut and push air, therefore this will create wind noise. Vibration is quite low and “Nobby” can give low decibel to the ears and low vibration to the hands for daily-use at professional beauty salons.
Over the 50years of operation, some level of complain by end-users (non-professionals) is caused by vacuuming their hair. End-users are accidentally vacuuming own hair and mentally shocked… and keep using Typical propeller fan dryers. Hairs were left inside and stuck in fan or heater and this would end up either motor stop or smell bad. Sirocco fan design can prevent such incident. Intake ports are 2side front and back. Typical propeller fan has 1 intake and vacuuming pressure will be higher once hair covers a intake.
