STANPA - Spanish Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association
Stanpa is the Spanish Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association. Founded in 1952, currently has 300 members, representing more than 400 entities, that manufacture and distribute perfumes, cosmetics and personal care products in Spain, that means 90% of the market. It offers to the Spanish manufacturing and exporting companies, institutional, technical and legislative support, as well as in statistics and in the international area.
Spain is the fifth largest consumer of cosmetics and perfumery products within the UE, and beauty products made in Spain are present in more than 150 countries. With a positive trade balance, Spanish cosmetics and perfumes exports now reach 4,900 million euros, ranking Spain among the Top Ten exporters of beauty products worldwide and the second in the category of perfumes.
The constant research for new essences, natural products and raw materials made by the enterprises, has created more than 250,000 innovative and high quality products. Always operating with the utmost respect for the environment.
