Description

Trace evidence refers to the microscopic material, chemical, or biological traces recovered from crime scenes, with the potential to associate perpetrators, victims, and locations. This session presents NIJ-funded researchers applying advanced chemical and biological analyses to problems of forensic and investigative interest involving these diverse and challenging samples.
