Pittcon Party: Chicago

Description

The SEAC awards symposium highlights recent advances in electroanalytical chemistry from world-recognized scientists, and celebrates the research contributions of Shelley D. Minteer and Martin A. Edward.  This award symposium is organized and presented by the Society of Electroanalytical Chemistry.  

Shelley Minteer from the University of Utah will receive the 2020 Charles N. Reilley award.  She received her Ph.D. at the University of Iowa working with Professor Johna Leddy.  She began her career at Saint Louis University before moving to the University of Utah.  Her interests are focused on bioelectrochemistry and electroanalytical chemistry.

Martin Edwards from the University ofUtah will receive the 2020 Royce C. Murray award.  He is a research assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Utah.  He received his Ph.D. at the University of Warwick, UK, supervised by Pat Unwin.  His research in physical and analytical electrochemistry couples innovative instrumentation., numerical modelling and statistics.
