Gary "Butch" King, Master Guide, has been offering fully guided and outfitted Record Class Brown Bear and Trophy Moose hunting on the remote Alaska Peninsula since 1971. On this peninsula, the Alaska Brown Bear are the largest in the world. Several 10 to 11 foot class Brown Bears are taken on guided hunts each season. Hunters choose from wilderness tented camps, remote cabin or lodge based hunts by river boat. We have outfitted successful hunts for more than 150 bears 10 to 11 feet, including two former #1 SCI World Records and several top 25 in the current record book.
At Wildman Lodge, we also offer fishing trips for Salmon, Arctic Char, and Trout as well as vacations for Wildlife Viewing that include the Pacific Walrus. After August 10th, any trip can include upland bird hunting.
All of our trips begin at our comfortable wilderness lodge with cozy guest cabins including 24 hour heat and hot water. Internet access is available so you can let the folks back home know how much fun you are having.
