Tailhunter Sportfishing is a full-service fishing outfitter, guide service and vacation planner and organizer in La Paz, Baja Sur, Mexico.  We've been here almost 30 years and specialize in customized trips including lodging, transportation, fishing and other activities such as snorkeling, SCUBA, kayaking and many other trips.  

Trophy deep sea fishing without having to go far.  Waters are generally very calm and shallow and this is live bait fishing so no long travel days to fishing grounds or long-boring days of trolling. This is very pro-active light tackle fishing where YOU are doing the fishing.  Not the boat!   

Catch species such as marlin, sailfish, tuna, wahoo, dog-tooth snapper, giant roosterfish (roosterfish capital of the world!), trevally, dorado and a dozen other species and you will never be out-of-sight of land.  Many times you can see the bottom!  

Great for experienced or non-experienced anglers.  Many of our anglers are first-timers, families and kids who have just as big a chance of a trophy as the veteran fisherfolks!

Come join us in La Paz -  A little city hideaway on the Sea of Cortez.  We're not touristy and family-oriented!
