Acuity Pro® was developed by doctors, for doctors! After becoming frustrated with the limited availability of digital acuity chart options, two optometrists partnered to create the first version of Acuity Pro in 1999. For over 20 years, it has continued to evolve based on crowdsourced enhancements from fellow doctors.
We understand the daily challenges and needs your practice faces and are proud to offer a digital acuity system that streamlines patient refractions. Acuity Pro offers a variety of standard acuity charts that are accessible by a single keypress on the Acuity Pro custom remote control or a keyboard. The macro option provides a simple interface to create custom exam sequences assigned to a single key for quick access during the exam.
Our software also features a library of ocular images for patient education, integrated access to videos, and a slideshow function to display a variety of slides and photos in your exam room.
When you replace your bulb projector with our modernized system, it enhances the patient experience while giving you a fully supported, stress-free digital acuity solution. Plus LCD monitors allow refraction in full or partial room illumination for "real world" evaluation of LASIK and mulifocal contact lens patients.
Features added with the release of Acuity Pro Version 10 include the Patti Pics®¹ pediatric symbol chart and an animated distance fixation video "Learn about Vision with Dr. Frank and Gwen" - which is a tribute to Dr. Frank Fontana, an optometric legend. Additional enhancements include sharper optotypes, optotype sizes up to 20/800 for select optotypes, and updated user interfaces for the image and video libraries and custom macro feature. Acuity Pro is also compatible with the Marco TRS 6100, 5100, and 3100 systems.
Acuity Pro is available as an All-In-One (AIO) Digital Acuity System or as software only. The software-only option provides the capability to install Acuity Pro on a Windows (8, 10, or 11) computer with dual-monitor capability, which allows the display of the EHR software at the desktop and Acuity Pro on a wall monitor. Both the AIO system and software-only options include the custom Acuity Pro remote control and receiver, pediatric response cards, and Acuity Pro mousepad. The AIO system also includes a wall mount and wireless keyboard.
