The Armed Forces Optometric Society (AFOS) represents all doctors of optometry serving in the United Stated Military (Air Force, Army, Navy, and Reservists), Department of Veterans Affairs, Public Health Services, Indian Health Services, and any and all other Federal services. Plus, students and residents interested in pursuing careers in federal service optometry are welcomed as members. Our mission is to promote, protect, and advance Federal Service optometry in order to deliver unparalleled eye and vision care to our beneficiaries.
