The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) is a network of recreation leaders dedicated to energizing Saskatchewan and changing lives! We imagine a province where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy recreation and feel more connected to nature, our communities and ourselves. It is our job to connect, educate and inspire others to build this future together. We are empowered to succeed through funding from Sask Lotteries.
SPRA has many programs and services that may benefit your community including, but not limited to;
- Field Staff can visit your community, meet with your recreation practitioners and volunteers to learn about your community and provide resources and references to address your needs
- SPRA has many educational program ranging from youth leadership to fitness leader certification to facility operations.
- SPRA has a resources library. This is a place where you community can access can resources both in hard copy and/or electronically
