Western Trade Training Institute (WTTI) specializes in the delivery of certification training for Rigging and Operators of Mobile Crane, Overhead Travelling Crane and Boom Truck trades.

All Hoists, Cranes & Lifting Device Training includes:

• OHS, Communication, High Voltage, Wire Rope, Rigging Hardware, Slings applications, Calculating Load Weights, Parts of Line, Sling Angles calculations, Anchor Points, Centre of Gravity, Two Crane Lifts

• The Rigging Fundamentals covers rigging legislation & equipment. The enhanced rigging day includes more on sling angle effect and calculations, hoisting systems, center of gravity and two crane lifts. Once complete a written exam would be administered.

All competent operator training is customized to the employer's equipment and service application.  

All WTTI training meets Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety Regulations 2020 Table 13 requirements. The training can be adapted to other jurisdictions.  Rigging meets Water Operator CEU requirments.

Upon completion the employer will receive a copy of certificates and the participants receive a wallet card certificate.
