Tsurumi manufactures and distributes electric submersible pumps that include an array of features not found on other pumps. Tsurumi pumps incorporate a special design for the cable entry to protect against water wicking through the cable into the motor chamber. This feature helps to protect the pump from wet burn situations. The mechanical seal faces for all Tsurumi pumps operate within the oil chamber. In traditional designs the seal faces operate within the pumped medium; this means the seal faces are exposed to grit, dirt, sewage, and contamination lessening the life of the seals. The number one issue for failure for an electric submersible pump is the failure of the mechanical seals. Tsurumi pumps are designed for use in plumbing, sewage, and water treatment applications.
